Everest(ing) on a road bike

Hi!

I'm planning to attempt to complete the Everesting challenge at the weekend, on Sunday. The challenge involves climbing in a single day 8848m, the height of Everest from which the name everesting, with a bike. In this case with a road bike. The rule is that a single climb must be chosen and repeated as many times as needed to cumulate 8848m. I tried this already last week but had to stop due to knee problems, which I hope I solved by adjusting the saddle position (bike is really new). My plan is to cycle up from Wassen to the Susten pass and back down again 7 times.

And here is my question. Is anyone interested in joining me for one or two climbs? Would be nice to have some company and someone to keep me awake since I will start at 4:30(more or less) in the morning :). I'm not a fast cyclist and on the first attempt it took me on average 1h40(ish) to go up and a bit more than 20min to get back down. Relatively relaxed pace due to the length of the effort.

If you are interested let me know :).

Ciao!
Paolo
