| Indian Creek or the Creek is quite stout climbing! I have the local guide book and know the freeways to get there feel free to ask me questions may I also ask you questions? would it be better for you in private? was climbing real good and solid, at this point when we visited the creek I had already visited Yosemite and Joshua Tree Winter 2009 I was there in november for 10 days, I climbed 8 of the 10 days. we had a good weather window Logistics can be quite hard there, but possible, use lot`s of patience Web sights are good but nothing like a personal tour of the place I know other climbing areas better Overseas trips with long distance driving, figuring all the logistics will use time otherwise alloted to the pursuit of climbing For me showing people around and making sure they climb lots, has become my work My service is to do the logistics for you, and if you are not a trad climber, make sure you can learn enough and climb enough to say the trip was worth while The thing with the Creek is, that if the climber does not have solid crack climbing skills, it will not be fun, the routes are very physical and there are no bolts on 95 percent of the routes the climber must be good at placing gear!!!!!!!!!!! In Joshua Tree, I taught a young guy from Rehintal, Trad-climinbing. He hired me for 2 weeks of logistics and climbing support I am sure he will provide a reference for me here are some pics of my trip dirt bag = in american climbing culture = less work more climbing sometimes while out in the field we do not shower much, thus dirt bag what ever you decide enjoy ernest me climbing a 5.10b chimney to the hands crack!! Sick! |
